WAITLIST
Our waitlists are active and can move quickly. If you’re added to the class, you’ll be notified by email or text. If plans change, please cancel so someone else can take the spot, even if you are still waitlisted.

Guests of members must cancel through their own account. If you are waitlisted and plans change, please cancel your spot on the list. • Our classes are meant to be all-levels and we welcome beginners to try what looks best to them. Depending on what you’re looking for in a yoga class, we have a few suggestions for beginners.

    Read Class Descriptions

You are welcome to try any class regardless of experience. If you have any questions or concerns just let your instructor know.

  • Hot classes range from 90-105’.
Our hottest class is the Traditional Hot 26&2 90 minutes.

We use an infrared heating system and turn it on and off during classes. There is no humidity added. Depending on the class style your teacher will turn the heat on and off at different points.
We give a range of temperatures because the building heat fluctuates throughout the day.

    Classes Include:
Classic and Traditional Hot 26&2, Hot Power, Hot Vinyasa, Hot Pilates, and Yoga Sculpt.

Be sure to hydrate before and after heated classes. If you have health concerns or are pregnant, please consult your doctor.

  • Non-heated classes are kept around 75 °F, and warm classes around 80 °F.

    Classes Include:
VinYin, Mindful Vinyasa, Classical Pilates, Aerial Yoga, Deep Stretch, Ashtanga, Yoga Nidra, and Tai Chi.

Depending on the time of day, some classes may be cozier than others.

  • Yoga is great for all ages! We suggest students be 12 years or older and minors must be accompanied by an adult. If you are concerned about the heat, try one of our non-heated or warm classes.

Be mindful that we expect kids to be respectful in classes just like our adult students. We understand their participation may vary and we want to support their practice in a constructive way.

Some events have different age restrictions such as our Aerial Yoga for Kids monthly events. These events are a great way to get the younger kids involved in a setting where they can be their fun kid self.

Consult with your doctor if there are any health concerns or injuries.

  • Can I step out during class?
Yes! You’re welcome to step out to use the rest room, grab some water or a prop, or just regroup. Note that our front door will lock behind you if you step out.

What if I am running late?
We do not always have front desk staff and can not delay class for late students. If you are registered and running 1-2 minutes late, please message us through the Momence app ASAP. We can not promise to hold the door for late students.

What if I feel sick during class?
Take a rest, drink some water and step out if needed. We have cold towels to offer students after class.

    Do you offer private lessons?
Yes, most of our teachers are available to work one on one. If you are would like to set up sessions please contact the studio directly or ask the teacher at the studio.

Why can’t I have my phone in class?
There are many reasons! Our studio is a space to disconnect and phones in class are a distraction for everyone. Even if it’s not actively being used. Filming or taking photos during class invades other student’s privacy and is disrespectful to the teacher. If we see phones in class we will ask the students to place it in their locker.

If you absolutely need your phone due to work or family please tell your teacher, silence it and keep it out of view for other students.

You are welcome to take a photo or video once the space has cleared out. We encourage those proud yogi selfies ~ tag us! @munimuniyoga

Is there time after class to change?
Yes! You’re welcome to stay up to 15 minutes after class. We have two large, private restrooms that are perfect for changing. We ask students not to linger in the practice spaces so we can clean and prep for the next class.

Prep For Class

Step 1: Hydrate!
New students, arrive 10-15 minutes early.

  • YOGA MAT
    Mats are required.

Mat and towel rentals are $5 for both. We ask students use a towel with rental mats during hot classes.

    WATER BOTTLE
Filtered water and for-purchase beverages are available in our lobby.

    PROPS
We have all the props you need at the studio and they are available for any class. You are welcome to bring your own but it is not required.

Towels, props and locker keys are welcome in the practice spaces. No cell phones. Use our lockers for all personal items or leave them in your car. We are not responsible for lost items.

  • $5 Yoga Mat & Towel Rental

We require students to use a mat towel with our rental mats, which are included in the price. Rentals are free for members and included in the New Student Special.

Rentals are located across from our restrooms just outside the hot room.

  • Depending on the class style you will want to wear something that works in the class temperature and movement style.

    Here are a few suggestions:

No shoes in the practice rooms. Socks are ok and if you need shoes please bring an “inside only” pair to change.

    Aerial Yoga
Avoid zippers and embellishments that could tear the silks. Please remove your jewelry as it can also damage the silks.

    Hot Classes
Athletic style clothes that work with sweat and don’t “get in the way” as you flow. Yoga leggings or athletic shorts are a good go to. Cotton is not usually recommended.

    Warm Classes
We suggest something similar to hot classes but sweat is not usually as big of a concern. Make sure you are comfortable and bring an extra layer if needed.

    Non-heated Classes
Dress comfortably! The material isn’t a big concern and you’re welcome to bring an extra layer if you tend to get chilly. Our hot room is never cold but everyone runs a little different.

We offer blankets in our prop area and face towels to wipe sweat at the back of the hot room.

  • We have a large, shared lot with plenty of free parking. Be mindful of any spots designated for a specific business - there are only a few.

We are located just a few doors down from Mio Sushi and Champs Pizza!

Studio Etiquette

Students may arrive up to 15 minutes before class. We ask new students to arrive at least 10 minutes early. The main door is locked at the start of class. We have limited front desk staff to allow late students into class; please arrive on time.

No cell phones in practice spaces.
Water bottles, towels, locker keys, and class-related props are always welcome in the practice space.

Lockers are available in our lobby. Keep your key with you at all times and leave items at your own risk. We have security cameras on site to help keep our studio a safe space. Muni Muni Yoga & Wellness is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

DURING CLASS
Be respectful in the practice spaces by not talking, quietly entering and exiting, and allowing yourself to disconnect from anything outside the studio. If you hear your phone ring during class, please step out to silence it.

Reserve space when setting up your mat to accommodate everyone. Once class starts, you’re welcome to shift your spot.

Be mindful of everyone’s safety when practicing handstands or inversions during class. You are welcome to use a wall to help support your practice, but avoid putting extra pressure on the mirrors.

AFTER CLASS
Please double-check that you left your locker key in its lock and that you have the correct shoes! If you misplaced something, our lost and found is located to the left of the lockers.

LOST & FOUND
Our lost and found is located in the lobby to the left of the lockers. If small or valuable items are found, we will keep them at the desk or in the office for safer keeping. We clear out items once a month and do our best to track how long certain items have been there, so we don’t discard any recently left items. Muni Muni Yoga & Wellness is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

A yoga studio is a shared space, and our rules are designed to keep the studio running smoothly and our students and staff safe. Everyone should feel welcome at Muni Muni. We reserve the right to refuse service or to ban students who are hurtful and disrespectful to other students, staff, or our space in general. If you have concerns, please email us at owner@munimuniyoga.com and remember that we are a small business.
